Claire was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received a degree in Environmental Biology from Tulane University and completed pre-health curriculum at Loyola University New Orleans. Before coming to Blue Ridge, Claire had experience in outdoor education with college recreation programs, summer camps, and Outward Bound Florida programs. Claire started as a field staff in the summer of 2021 and began working in the medical department in June 2022.

As Medical Coordinator, Claire is the primary point of contact for families and students about medical and health concerns. She serves as the liaison for the medical director, Dr. Dowis, and coordinates doctor's appointments and first aid. Claire's favorite part of the job is visiting the groups each week for health checks and monthly Doctor's Visits.

In her free time, Claire enjoys baking, reading fiction, and doing yoga.
