Jeff Dowis, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Dowis is the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Emergency and Clinical Services at Mountain Lakes Medical Center. He also operates the North Shore Healthcare’s Convenient Clinic located less than a mile from the Blue Ridge base office. Dr. Dowis received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, followed by an internship at the Medical College of Georgia and a residency at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Dowis is also a Major in the US Air Force Reserve.
