Vincent was born and grew up near Raleigh, NC. He moved to the mountains for college and fell in love with the natural beauty. While studying psychology, Vincent was introduced to a wilderness field instructor who told him about wilderness therapy and what it’s like. Vincent immediately knew that this was something he wanted to pursue.
Vincent believes that openness and vulnerability are crucial for having a fulfilling connection to life, to others, and to the self. He believes that vulnerability and openness guide us to truth. And truth, when courageously faced, makes our consciences loud enough to motivate meaningful action that cleans up the messes inside us and around us and makes our lives more bearable and beautiful.
